Soooo somehow my first blog where I talked about our first day of homeschool got deleted. So here's a tid bit of a few days of homeschool. Sometimes honeschool is done on a desk and sometimes it's done on the livingroom couch while I try to quiet a fussy baby but such is the season. They are still learning whether Im knelt next to them at their desk or sitting next to them on the couch.
Jon's do amazing at reading and continues to improve in writing, silas is improving with letter recognition and june is starting to grasp some of her letter recognition as well. Solomon is doing well with learning colors and continues to impress me when he points to something and says what it is and I didnt even know he knew the word. But Solomon is also a tornado coming in and destroying every room I've cleaned. And zeke man is just along first the ride. He sleeps eats and gets lots of kisses from his siblings.
In homeschool we usually start with some music and dance time then do the pledge and some Bible time. We are learning to be attentive with our eye ears and heart we may need more practice on that one tho.
Tonight at bedtime silas said mommy im scared because I had a dream about alligators chasing me. So I prayed that Jesus would give him sweet dreams and keep hin safe and then I told him that when I was little I would make room for Jesus to lay next to me. He smile and moved some stuff and said he can lay right here. But then came the questions mommy why can I feel him? I said well we may not feel or see him but he is always with us. He then said but we see hard and i can feel myself why can't I feel Jesus?
Yall im here for these questions but sometimes the questions are hard. Like how do you explain to a 5 year old that Jesus is just there even when we can't see. Like it's just how it is.
This motherhood/ homeschool journey Is a rollercoaster.and I think im upside-down right now lol.
